17.5 hours 8:30am – 12:00pm Monday – Friday term time only

Required as soon as possible. This role is fixed term to 31^st August 2025 in the first instance with a view to extending the contract if the school budget allows.

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated member of staff to work as part of a team supporting children with Special Educational Needs in our mixed year 1 / 2 classes in the first instance.

If you have:

experience of working with children with SEN, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and / or children who are neurodivergent in a school or pre-school setting;
the ability to stay calm and resilient when supporting children who display heightened emotions;
the ability to develop positive relationships with children and colleagues;
a solution focused approach and the ability to put external agency advice into practice;

A solution focused approach and the ability to put external agency advice into practice;

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated member of staff to work as part a team of committed, skilled and friendly practitioners who work hard to ensure children make the best progress possible during their first year of school.

If you are:

Experienced in working with children in a school or early years setting;
Able to support children with intimate care where required;
Looking to work in a supportive team where ongoing training is prioritised
Able to have a positive attitude and a child focused approach to meeting children’s individual needs;
A team player with excellent communication skills;
Wanting to work school hours with school holidays;
